Royal Naval Old Comrades Club.
An Extraordinary General Meeting.
A special general meeting was held at the club on Monday 12th April.
There were sixty members attending the meeting and was called to acquaint members as to the future of the club, as the club has been losing money over the past few years. It was also to quell rumours that the club was closing.
Steps have been taken to reduce the financial downturn experienced and eventually bring the club back to profit.
It is down to all members to support their club as much as they can to achieve this.
Applications for private parties are welcome and help is given towards the entertainment. Apply to the secretary, phone number, 01323 731276.
New social club members are invited to join the club, which has been in existence for 65 years. (For the last 6 months of this year the fee is half price, but joining fee remains the same. So come on in and see what we have to offer).
It is hoped many more members who did not attend the meeting will read this report and visit the club to learn of the new opening hours.
G. F. Erridge.
